Welcome to the Goodyear Retiree Health Care Trust.
The Retirees of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company Health Care Trust (the “Trust”), also known as the Goodyear Retiree Health Care Trust, provides post-retirement health care benefits for current and future USW-represented retirees of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Currently, the Trust provides benefit coverage to approximately 30,000 retirees, surviving spouses and dependents. The Trust provides medical, prescription drug and dental coverage. Additionally, a $50 per month Medicare Part B premium reimbursement is provided to all Medicare eligible retirees and surviving spouses, and their dependent spouses.
The Retirees of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company Health Care Trust is also commonly referred to as the Goodyear Retiree VEBA. In order to streamline communications and create a distinguishable brand for Trust participants, future communications will refer to the Goodyear Retiree Health Care Trust.
The Goodyear Retiree Health Care Trust is an independent organization. The Trust is not managed or operated by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company or the United Steel, Paper and Forestry, Rubber, Manufacturing, Energy, Allied Industrial and Service Workers International Union (“USW”). Please see the About the Trust section for information on the governance and operation of the Trust.
